Studs in the tread lugs provide grip on ice and snow. Thanks to its open tread arrangement, the clearing capabilities of the Spike Claw are good whilst still providing decent rolling resistance when used on hard surfaces.

The Spike Claw barely sinks into the surface by virtue of its large volume.

Available in either 120 or 240 steel stud options. The 120 stud option only features the studs on the shoulder lugs for when the cyclist prefers only rubber contact with the ground in a straight line, a better choice for mainly road use. The 240 stud option features all over studs, a better choice in heavier conditions.
