The tube is supplied semi-inflated inside the tyres, secured by the guarantee card which lists the terms of the one year Safety System guarantee. In the event of tyre failure*, the defective tyre & tube will be replaced. To claim your replacement products, you must present the original till receipt, the guarantee label & the faulty tyre to your dealer. Your dealer will examine the tyre prior to authorising a replacement.

* (Tyre failure is described as being where the tyre is rendered unusable due to damage from road debris whilst cycling. Separate tube failures where the tyre has not been damaged are not covered)  

• The guarantee does not cover any charges raised by the retailer for repairs/fitment resulting from any tyre/tube failures.

• The guarantee is for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.

• The guarantee does not cover damage caused by vandalism (knife cuts etc) nor fitting damage.

New VAPOR MTB tyre now available - 

Our new Cross Country MTB tyre is now available to UK bike shops. All versions are in stock so whether you require a wire bead Vapor or a foldable 'Pro' or ProTection model, your dealer can now acquire these tyres for you.

The Vapor is a 2.1" tyre with an intermediate tread pattern, which means it's designed to perform well in a range of conditions from dry/hard surfaces to loose/wet terrain. The Pro versions of the tyre weigh in at just over 500g, so this is a tyre for the endurance rider who needs low weight wheel componentry whilst retaining the reliability of heavier kit.

The tread design for the Vapor is like nothing ever seen before. We have made use of the entire tread surface to improve grip. Each lug is positioned on a 3D reinforced base, which thus provides a firmer & more responsive hold under cornering & braking. The tread base then has a rough, uneven surface which is designed to aid traction on softer ground (i.e. when the complete tyre surface is in contact with the ground). 

Because the knobs are more reinforced, they will flex much less under load which not only improves handling, but rolling resistance also.

The Vapor promises to be a great tyre - taking MTB XC tyre performance to a new level.

On the road in 2003. Pictures from Sleepless & UK Ironman 

Our race support team were busy again this year, supporting a number of events, most recently the offroad 24 hour "Sleepless in the Saddle" and the UK Half Ironman. At both events, our team were on hand to offer advice to competitors regarding tyre choice and help to make any last minute changes. We also provided a free fitting service on any Continental tyres purchased at each event. 

With both events attracting record entries, our team was busy throughout the weekends, and even through the night at the Sleepless event where competitors took advantage of our free innertube replacement service for puncture victims.
