Review from Motorcycle Sport & Leisure

"Even by deliberately shaking the bars on the straights, squealing the tyres under front and rear wheel braking and changing line sharply mid-corner I’m unable to induce these behemoths to behave badly. Verdict: Milestones provide grip and stability on dry tarmac that is well beyond the requirements of cruisers.

The Conti-shod VS800 was definitely grippier than the Bridgestone-shod one and the Conti tyres on all the bikes allowed footscraping cornering in the most slippery of conditions. Verdict: Grippier than the (Bridgestone) control tyre. If you exceed the limitations of the Conti’s wet grip it will be due to rider error rather than the tyres.

On the steeply banked 2.8km oval the Milestone’s were so good that the word stability never even came to mind and we were able to ride all those heavy cruisers at full throttle for as long as we could hang on. Verdict: supreme stability at speed."

Review from BIKER magazine

"The new Harley Dyna Sport 'Twin Cam' was my first mount. I soon found myself throwing it around, braking hard, and exiting corners on full gas, none of which produced any dramas. The handling? Well, let's just say the primary outer cover has a little less metal on it now, and the Suzuki Intruder I rode, well its side stand lug needs some attention! The bikes are the limiting factor here, not the Conti tyres.

The wet handling track was much more of a challenge, it would've been easier to ride across a frozen lake. The datum bike fitted with Bridgestone's offerings was lethal. I kept asking myself does Conti's silica compound work, then telling myself it had to; my eyes were on stalks such was the concentration. Again, under these conditions the tyres proved very safe.

It's great to see a company such as Continental take the lead in this less technologically advanced area of the motorcycle market, I'm confident these tyres represent a significant leap forward. Full marks to Continental."
