Series newcomer Richard Cooper takes top spot
A windy Donington Park saw series new boy Richard Cooper take on the KTM grid and come out on top after a race long dice with Kelvin Reilly. The two riders headed the field with some very entertaining close racing. Ice cool Pauli Pekkanen tied up the series with a well ridden understated 5th place, commendable after the battering he sustained when he binned his Daytona 675 practicing for the Supersport race. The Super Duke Battle marches on to Brands for the series finale with second and third place still wide open

The sun finally came out on the KTM-Conti Super Dukes for a glorious weekend of racing at Cadwell park and the entire 990 grid provided entertaining racing for the sun-soaked fans. Series leader and all-round Mr Cool, Pauli Pekkanen, notched up back to back victories at his first visit to the Lincolnshire circuit

May has seen fantastic German Cup wins for Conti at the Nurburgring, with the ContiRace Attack winning in the 1000cc- Toni Heller GSXR1000, 750cc- Dirk Schneiders GSXR750, Twins- Thomas Pfisterer SV1000 and Phillip Hafeneger added to this success with a superb win in the German Supersport Championship on his Triumph 675
MCN try out the Superduke on ContiRace Attacks
MCN test rider Michael Neeves gave the KTM Superduke a pre-season spring try out at the Lydden circuit in Kent. The ContiRace Attack shod KTM Battle kicks off at Silverstone on April 28th and this early shakedown showed the promise of things to come with the bike keeping good pace with machines on full race tyres. MCN's Michael Neeves commented that the bike was easy to ride with good pace and would give the Superduke Battle competitors a really enjoyable series. The ContiRace Attack will be available with a dedicated rain tyre, which is not for highway use, to enable riders to maintain the pace no matter what the conditions.
