2004 saw a confident return to form for Continental with the launch and success of the Sport/Touring tyre the ContiRoad Attack. Building on that success, Continental have rolled out an exciting new advertising campaign to promote their new "Uber Sport" radial the ContiSport Attack. The new Attack campaign uses a new approach for Conti, with three dynamic characters, the Warrior Conti Girl and two Warrior Road Guards. The real world urban performance and surefooted stability of the radials is reinforced by the "Angels on your shoulder" spirit of the Conti characters. The Conti Girl conjures the essential vital ingredient of the ContiSport Attack, the compound Black Chilli. Continentals original concept was for an archetypal Alchemist, but who wants to put up with a wizened old bloke when we can all be in awe of an Uber hot warrior girl. The Black Chilli compound, under the control of the Conti Girl, has an enhanced activated silica component which gives the new radial the highest grip and angle of lean (50.8 degrees)in its class without sacrificing durability. The Road Guards provide a strong powerful presence and embody the secure feeling that the Conti rider enjoys every time they use their bike on ContiSport or Road Attack radials, always on the rider's shoulder, the Road Guards enable the rider to Fear No Road.
